During the pandemic, the world went into isolation and slowed to a crawl. I began to use an old camera given to me years earlier to capture the world around me. I wanted to highlight the beauty of nature and things that many people might ignore or take for granted. I’ve continued to take my camera on my walks, to catch those magical moments that can only be described in a visual language. Beauty is in everything and everywhere. We just need to sit back and look up to appreciate what the world is giving us. Whether it be the birds flying above our heads, the sunlight reflecting inside, or the casting of a beautiful shadow, I aim to capture the world I see through my eyes.
